Im so excited to show you some of the shots from our new studio in Sherwood Park. It has been a long moving process but Calie and I are finally getting settled in our new space. I think our favourite part of our new space so far is our great big windows. Our old space didn't have any window light, now we have so much we don't know what to do with it. Jezelle was one of our first clients in our new space. She brought along some fun props like her boyfriends jersey and dress shirt. To really add some pop she brought bubbles. I love the bubbles... Thinking outside the box is a great way to get unique ideas for your shoot. Jezelle's bubbles help her to relax and have some fun. Here is a little flash back to some photos I did last winter. Harley has such a beautiful smile, she's and all round beauty. Im so glad she was willing to travel all the way from Calgary to come see us at Pink Blush Boudoir. It seems the Boudoir Photography Edmonton must be doing something right. We have many girls who come from Fort Mac, Red Deer, Calgary, and all over Alberta for their boudoir experience . Edmonton Photographer. Another photo shoot from our hotel marathon! Karolina wanted to try something different for her photo shoot, and let Brenna our hair and makeup stylist do whatever she thought would work best with the outfits that she had. She LOVED her hair and makeup and so did we! With a couple of her own outfits, and using one of our corsets, Karolina was ready for her photoshoot. She was so easy to direct and to photograph, it really shows through in her photos.

Boudoir Photographer Kelly was at one of our last marathons we held at our old studio space. She is so photogenic, and we love her tattoos! She had some great outfit ideas. The rocker look worked out so well, and you can never go wrong with a onesie. One of my favourite outfits a girl can bring is a a onesie, and we are for sure seeing more and more of them! Here is a little throw back to last summer. It's always fun to go through old images. It brings back great memories of clients we have had come through our studio. If girls do come back for a second or third shoot it's usually a year or two apart, so our pictures are all we have to reconnect. Well I guess there is Facebook for that to.. Stephanie has a rock hard body clearly due to some dedicated gym time. She's got great curves. I love that women today are seeing the beauty in curves and shapes. Pin thin girls are great for run ways but not every woman suits being ultra thin. I find the girls who come though our studio that have worked hard on their bodies are very confident and less likely to want their images retouched, other then the typical pimple or bruise. Keeping it simple... I find many women feel like they need tons for fancy outfits and props for a great boudoir shoot, but sometimes simple is best. Jamie did most of her shoot in a black tank with pick panties and leg warmers. Her next outfit was a classic black corset. I love her photos and her relaxed expressions. Sometimes keeping it simple can help you relax, because your less focused on what your wearing and more on just having a good time in front of the camera. Any man will tell you his favourite thing is you happy, smiling and relaxed... This means he has a good chance of putting a smile on both your faces.. Tee hee...

Many of the women who come through our studio feel like maybe they are a little past their boudoir prime. The years of children, weight gain, and desk jobs can really take a toll on the bodies of women. I believe that at any age a women can still be sexy, even after children or few extra pounds. I also believe that with a good diet and dedicated exercise women can look amazing well into their 40's and 50's. Amy is a prime example of a woman who didn't let excuses hold her back from looking amazing well over 40. She's fit and lean with glowing skin. There is no doubt she has worked hard on her body not only in the gym but nutritionally as well. Giving up fast food, and spending 1-2 hours in the gym 6 days a week might not be for everyone, but if it is, I hope these images are a good source of motivation that you will benefit from your sacrifices and hard work in the years to come. There is something to be said about a man's shirt. If you love a man you probably enjoy putting on something that smells and feels like him. A man's dress shirt or a warm sweater can be a great addition to a boudoir session. I even recommend spraying a little of his cologne on whatever you bring to help put you in the mood. Ties can be a lot of fun to since they barely cover anything, and once he knows what you did with it he will never ware it quiet the same again. It's a great way to give your man a boost of confidence walking into the office in the morning. Although Trena was a bit nervous for her shoot she did an excellent job of showing off her man's dress shirt and tie. Way to go Trena..
